Trapcode 3D Stroke 2.7, used for creating animated strokes and paths, adds new options for varying the colour or thickness of a stroke along its length. In addition, Trapcode Mir, intended for generating 3D surfaces, gets an update, with version 2.2 adding support for image-based lighting and depth of field. Smaller updates to Trapcode Mir and Trapcode 3D Stroke Particle effects tool Trapcode Particular 3.1 gets new options to set the emission rate of particles based on the speed of the emitter, or relative to a master emitter.īoth also benefit from usability improvements to their respective Designer windows, used for building effects, including new playback controls, better handling of presets, and improved navigation for folders.
